of such an owner or tenant;
- a Canadian citizen; and

VOTERS’ LIST
The Township of Beckwith’s voters’ list is compiled from information received from Ontario’s Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. Copies of the Voters’ List may be viewed at the Clerk’s Office beginning September 7th, 2010. If you are qualified to be on the Voters’ List at more than one address, you can only vote once, vote based on the address you reside.
REVISION OF VOTERS’ LIST
The period for revisions to the Voters’ List will be accepted by the Clerk commencing on September 7th, 2010 and ending at 8:00 p.m. on Voting Day (October 25th, 2010). Application forms for amendments may be obtained from the Township of Beckwith Clerk’s Department at 1702 9th Line Beckwith, as of September 7th, 2010.
APPLICATION FOR ADDITION OR CORRECTION TO THE VOTERS’ LIST AT THE VOTING PLACE
All qualified electors attending a voting place are entitled to vote. Where the qualified electors’ name does not appear on the Voters’ List, or the information is incorrect, the deputy returning officer and/or designate will issue the elector an “Application to Amend Voters’ List” form which acts as a declaration of qualification. The deputy returning officer and/or designate will require the elector to complete the form and to provide proof of identification in order to verify qualification (picture identification and proof of residence is required). Once the “Application to amend Voters’ List” form is completed and accepted, the deputy returning officer and/or designate will add the voter’s name to the List, or correct the Voter information, and issue a ballot.
