ARE YOU INTERESTED IN RUNNING FOR MUNICIPAL OFFICE?????

Nominations for the positions listed below must be made on the prescribed form available at the Municipal Clerk’s Office. Nomination forms must be filed, either in person or by your agent, with the Returning Officer during normal office hours between Monday, January 4th, 2010 and Friday, September 10th, 2010 until the 2:00 p.m. deadline on Nomination Day.

For the position of Councillor, the required filing fee of $100.00 (cash, certified cheque or money order made payable to Township of Beckwith) must accompany the signed form and it is suggested that such filing fee be drawn from a separate campaign bank account required of all candidates. The filing fee for the Head of Council position is $200.00. Full details on the procedures to be followed may be obtained from the Municipal Clerk.
